Here’s why your driftwood floor lamp is unique:
- We personally pick our rustic driftwood from various areas in North Carolina and the Appalachian Mountains. Obviously, no two are ever alike
- In most cases, the actual piece of driftwood is from the taproot of the tree, really this is the main truck of the tree as it extrudes from the ground
- Burs and rough edges are sanded and smoothed on each piece. Really it depends on how we find the piece of wood. However, we keep modification to a minimum to preserve the natural rustic look
- If you look closely, the rod that supports the lamp shade is made from solid copper. We also include small hand cut copper leaves soldered onto the post with thick copper wire
- In fact, these are all handcrafted. You can choose any design you like for the rustic lamp shade. Learn more about how we can custom design lamp shades for you
- Additionally, you can add a pedestal to your floor lamp to hold your coffee or favorite magazines. Choose from any of our standard woods, normally we work with Ambrosia Maple, Black Walnut, Cedar, Cherry, Red Oak and White Oak. - Standard dimensions are approximate of your rustic driftwood floor lamp, these lamps are 24″ wide by 24″ deep and 60″ tall

Pictured is standard options, however this doesn’t mean you are limited to these choices either. We can pretty much get any type of wood species you like and have it incorporated, check out the Wood Database and pick what works best for your home or log cabin. If you go with the custom wood option just allow additional time for us to get it.
